New Daily Photo Sites for the Girls
I just set up new daily photo sites for Anais and Ada. What made this site so much fun, was that I wrote the entire thing in ColdFusion in the new framework I’ve been slowly building. Also, the entire system works through email. Sky or I can simply email a photo, along with a subject and a description in the email body, to the site, and it resizes the photos and puts them on the site. This is great, especially from a phone. Obviously, this is nothing new, I do this all the time on sites like Tumblr and Flickr. However, this was the first time I’d tried writing such an app in the new framework. You’ll also notice the clean URLs in ColdFusion again. I’m really beginning to understand how to make ColdFusion and mod_rewrite work together for a better/searchable URL and site.
