Corrosion of Conformity – Live in VA in 83
I grew up on Corrosion of Conformity. Not the silly metal band of the 90s, but the punk band. They were from less than 2 hours away, and their sound was unlike anything I’d ever heard before. COCs first album, Eye for an Eye, is a punk classic, even if it’s usually not mentioned along side bigger name punk bands. Animosity, their second release, played no stop in my headphones during my teen years. I still remember finding a copy in an import stack in Eden, NC, which is really funny considering the band was from just down road 60 or so miles. Here’s a taste of early COC in 1983, playing in VA. Enjoy!
